Smooth Jazz at South Shore Concert

Don't forget about the Smooth Jazz at the South Shore concert this Saturday, August 29th.

2 Big Hearts Foundation Golf Outing

On September 13, 2009 the 2 Big Hearts Foundation will be having a golf outing at Long Beach Country Club in Michigan City, Ind.

All proceeds collected at the event will be used fund the foundation so that they can get out and raise awareness of heart disease among women.

Heart disease is the #1 killer of women in the United States and The 2 Big Hearts Foundation's mission is to use the story of Gigi Clarke and Sally Czechanski, both dying of undiagnosed heart disease on the same day 90 minutes apart, to "educate women about the causes and prevention of heart disease (2bighearts.org).

Dunebrook Invites Oprah back for their 20th Anniversary

Dunebrook: Prevent Child Abuse LaPorte County is celebrating their 20th Anniversary next month on September 12th and is trying to get Oprah Winfrey to return to help celebrate.

Seventeen years ago, Oprah raised awareness of child abuse in our country on her television show and highlighted Dunebrook as a leader in the cause for prevention. Now Dunebrook, after serving LaPorte County for 20 years, is having a gala to celebrate their and the families helped by this organization success inviting Oprah to attend because of her contributions meant so much to everyone involved.

Dunebrook has uploaded a video to Youtube asking Oprah to attend. Please upload this video anywhere possible to get the word out to as many people as possible to help get Oprah to LaPorte County.

Smooth Jazz at South Shore Concert

Morse & Company would like to remind everyone to get their tickets for the 2009 Smooth Jazz at South Shore concert!

This year the concert will be held on August 29th starting at 7:30pm CT on the Lake Michigan shoreline in Washington Park. Performers include jazz favorites Rick Braun, Jonathan Butler and Richard Elliot.

Morse & Company has proudly created the billboards and yard signs around Michigan City announcing the event as well as the NWI Times, The Beacher, News Dispatch, Herald Argus and radio advertisements to get the word out for the concert. Keep an eye out for our hard work and don't miss the chance to experience some smooth jazz on Lake Michigan!
