Michigan City, IN -- Morse & Company Advertising Communications, Inc., a full-service ad agency, was recently recognized for the development of the logo and certificate used for the National Association of Occupational Health Professionals (NAOHP) quality certification program. The logo and certificate were designed at the request of WorkingWell Regional Occupational Health, who obtained the three-year Quality Certification award from the NAOHP by achieving a score of 97.1 percent out of a possible 100 percent compliance to standard. The logo and certificate will continue to be used by the NAOHP for other national programs who attain the award.

Morse & Company Advertising Communications of Michigan City announces that Barbara Eastman has joined its staff as an Account Executive. Barbara grew up in Michigan City and graduated from the former St. Maryís High School (now Marquette) before earning a degree in English and Communications from Mundelein College of Loyola University, Chicago. In 1970, she joined the staff of Hollister Incorporated, a privately-owned international health care company, where she remained for 23 years. She moved up through the ranks, taking on greater responsibility with each promotion, and ultimately ran the advertising department for the company, which has manufacturing locations in the US and Europe, and branches in 90 countries on six continents.
She left Hollister in 1993 to raise her family and was asked by the president to continue her association with the company as an outside consultant, which she did for the next ten years. When Barbara and her husband relocated from Wilmette, Illinois to La Porte several years ago, she began working for Morse & Company as a freelance copywriter. She is excited about the challenges and opportunities she will have as an Account Executive and looks forward to working with members of the business communities in Northwest Indiana, Illinois, and Southwestern Michigan. In addition to her experience in advertising and marketing communications, Barbara held positions in customer service, field sales, professional development, and event planning, experience which will serve her well in her new role at Morse & Company.
Barbara (whose maiden name is Voris) enjoyed growing up in Michigan City with her six brothers, and four sisters. She and her husband, Jerome, have two daughters: Claire (25) and Eva (23), who live in Chicago.
